Microsoft SQL Server is used where the volume of data and the number of concurrent users is high, where data integrity and speed of operation are crucial and redundancy / failover is required. Imaginet used SQL & Visual basic to develop the Incident Management System (IMS.NET) & the Statistical Reporting Division (SRD) applications for the Philippine National Police. The PNP deployed this application throughout the 22 regions, accessing the central server using Netscreen based VPN.
