Microsoft Access is an excellent choice for small network or website applications with less than 50 simultaneous users. An example of this is Imaginet's HRX Website Application that processes Job Candidate applicants ensuring that all qualifications are met before submitting a formatted email to the HR department.

Using MS Access, Imaginet has created a CRM for an Independent Financial Advisor and a Production / QA management application for a factory producing high quality hand made replica aircraft.

Microsoft SQL Server is used where the volume of data and the number of concurrent users is high, where data integrity and speed of operation are crucial and redundancy / failover is required. Imaginet used SQL & Visual basic to develop the Incident Management System (IMS.NET) & the Statistical Reporting Division (SRD) applications for the Philippine National Police. The PNP deployed this application throughout the 22 regions, accessing the central server using Netscreen based VPN.
